Mahama tours limited voter registration centers, begins at EC headquarters

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer for 2024, John Dramani Mahama, has arranged a visit to some of the facilities used for the ongoing limited voter registration operation.

Mr Mahama will visit the centers, which are all located in the Greater Accra Region, on Friday, September 15.

He will first visit the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) headquarters before traveling to the district offices of Adenta, La, and Tema.

The limited voter registration period began on Tuesday, September 12, and will finish on Monday, October 2.

The NDC, along with other political parties and civil society organizations, opposed the EC's decision to conduct it only in districts rather than electoral areas.
