Make Kumawu proud, leave an indelible mark in Parliament – Bawumia tells Ernest Anim

Ernest Anim has received congratulations from Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for winning the Kumawu by-election.

Dr. Bawumia urged him to make his district proud and make a lasting impression in Congress.

Ernest Yaw Anim, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, won the Kumawu by-election.

In order to overcome Kwesi Amankwah of the NDC and the other two Independent Candidates, he received 15,264 votes.


Kwesi Amankwah received 3,723 votes, compared to Kwaku Duah (1)'s 2,478 and the other Kwaku Duah's 62.

Rejected – 204


Total votes cast – 21,731


Registered voters – 34,790


Turnout – 62.46%
