NDC Council of Elders petitioned to review Omane Boamah’s appointment

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Council of Elders has been petitioned to reconsider the recent appointment of former Minister of Communications Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah as Director of Elections and IT.

Delanyo Agbe, who defines himself as "a concerned NDC supporter and social activist, deeply invested in the progress and success of our party," filed the plea.

The petitioner claims, among other things, that Dr. Omane Boamah lacks the skills to administer elections and IT.

"Election management and information and communication technology (ICT) are critical components of modern political campaigning," he stated.

"Dr. Omane Boamah's medical background, while noteworthy, does not seem to align with the intricate technicalities of information and communication technology and the complexities of electoral processes."

He expressed his admiration.
