NDC MP Kwabena Minta Akandoh involved in near-fatal accident at Nyinahin

Kwabena Mintah Akando, the Juaboso MP, was engaged in a near-fatal automobile accident in the Ashanti area of Nyinahin.

On his way back from his constituency, the Ranking Member of Parliament's Health Committee crashed head-on with an approaching Kumasi-Sefwi Yiawso bound Sprinter bus on the boundaries of Atwima Mponua township.


The accident happened about 18:05 on Saturday, when the MP's driver attempted to overtake a car ahead of him and broke a tyre on the front passenger side.

It raced into the incoming bus's lane before crashing with it.


The NDC MP's car, with registration GN 441-14, and the Sprinter, with registration AS 7363-18, were both damaged in the crash.
