Kofi Bentil, the Vice President of Imani Africa, has extended his congratulations to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on the success he had at the super delegates conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which took place on August 26. The meeting was conducted last Saturday.
Dr. Bawumia received 629 votes, which is 68.15 percent of the total, followed by Kennedy Agyapong with 132 votes (14.3 percent) and Alan Kyerematen with 95 votes (10.29 percent), respectively.
Due to the fact that both Addai-Nimoh and Mr. Boakye Agyarko received 9 votes, a run-off between the two of them is necessary to determine who comes in fifth place.
Mr. Bentil, who is also a private legal practitioner, spoke on this topic in a post that he published on Facebook. He said, "Democracy has the positive effect of giving everyone a chance, so We all get the opportunity to try out options and learn that every choice is a trade-off."
"The NPP made the right decision. Gratulations, Dr. Bawumia! To the summit and beyond! My confidence in you has been well-founded.
