Palgrave vows to make Abuakwa North ‘first class’ constituency

Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, the Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security, has declared his desire to run for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primary in the Abuakwa North Constituency, and says he plans to make the constituency "first class."

He stated that he will collaborate with the people of Abuakwa North on six cardinal principles to bring this goal to fulfillment.

"I am thinking about my constituents in Abuakwa North and for our constituency to become FIRST CLASS," he said on Facebook on August 18.

"I shall collaborate with my people to guarantee that these six cardinal values; Who are we? How does the world function? How do we structure ourselves? What ways do we express ourselves? Sharing the Earth? What time and place are we in? Support our plans for a FIRST-CLASS constituency in Ghana.

"We are ready to make history and put Abuakwa North on the map; join me and let's do it together," he said.

Many constituents cheered him on as he announced his decision to serve them in Parliament.

Dr. Boakye-Danquah has started some development initiatives in the constituency, most recently providing mechanised boreholes to people of Old Tafo-Fofiase and Anyinasin.

In June, he met with all of the constituency's police chiefs during a historic tour that included visits to all of the constituency's police stations.

He is anticipated to choose forms in the following months, when nominations for the February 2024 primary open.
