Parliament Approves $710 Million In Five Loan Agreements

During an emergency session on Tuesday, May 2, Parliament approved a total of $710 million in five loan agreements, as reported by the parliamentary correspondent for TV3, Komla Klutse.

Komla also reported that despite opposition from the Minority, the Majority prevailed and the executive approved the expenditure for the facilities.

On Thursday, April 20, the Speaker recalled the legislators from recess for "urgent parliamentary business."

Parliament went on recess on March 31 and was expected to convene again in July.
