Parliament resumes sittings today

The Eighth Parliament will resume today, Tuesday, June 6 after weeks of recess.

The start of the Second Meeting of the Third Session is quickly approaching.

Notice was given on the resumption by Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin on Friday, May 19.

This action was taken in accordance with Standing Order 37 of the Ghanaian Parliament.

The House will on Tuesday officially admit new member for Kumawu Constituency, Eric Yaw Anim.
