First time in public, the widow of the arrested pastor, Ezekiel Oder, delivered a forceful message to the police and members of her New Life congregation congregation. Mr.Odero was arrested this morning in Mavueni, Kilifi County, for cultist practices and mass executions at his church.
Following her husband's detention, the wife stated to the media and church members from her home that the man of God had been serving God in accordance with biblical principles, so church members had nothing to worry about. She stated that her congregation will begin praying fervently for the pastor who was arrested, and she warned the police and government not to intimidate her spouse.
I can assure you that Pastor Ezekiel, the servant of God, is secure in the custody of the police. We will permit the investigation to continue, but we will not imitate the man of God. We exhort the police to investigate in a righteous and godly manner.
According to Tuko News, the arrested pastor's wife told her church congregation, "I warn the police and government to stop intimidating people at all costs."
She continued, "All we know about our church, New Life, is that it is closed, but in the coming days we will pray from the outside until the man receives justice."
