Politics of ‘moneycracy’ will jeopardize Ghana’s democracy – Prof. Oquaye warns

Professor Blay was with us using the law as a tool for social, political, and economic engineering, he said.

"What has happened to us is that politics has evolved into a Moneycracy."

Now, it is no longer a matter of me contributing my resources, but rather, what will I enter and seize; consequently, everything they do today is an investment.

"It is extremely dangerous, and we must consider it through so that politics does not become the domain of those who buy their way into office and then buy their way out by enriching themselves at the expense of the nation.
