Robbers Attack Lecturer With Cutlass As Tension Mounts At Legon

A lecturer was reportedly the victim of a Thursday afternoon burglary in the vicinity of the ECG office at Legon.

Multiple reports indicate that the suspects cut the lecturer with a cutlass and stole his luggage containing his laptop, cell phones, and other documents.

The hand-bleeding professor was hurried to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

This contributes to the widespread cases at Legon and its environs, causing tension among students.

A female pupil was recently slashed in the face and arms and robbed of her belongings.

Students are losing faith in the school's security and its reputation as a secure haven as a result of the escalation of such crimes.

As a result, enraged students have initiated an online protest with the hashtag #LegonGoesRed to demand that their safety receives top priority.
