Former Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has entered the contest to become Nations FC's head coach for the upcoming season.

According to Kumasi-based sources, Bechem United coach Kassim Mingle had already held discussions with the club, despite the Hunters' denials.

However, Ghana Sports has learned that five-time champion coach Samuel Boadu is a viable candidate for the position.

If the option is available, Mingle will be eliminated from contention, and the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League champion will be hired.

Boadu is presently the U20 head coach for Ghana.
