Suffering Ghanaians Losing Interest In Democracy – Rev. Korankye Ankrah Laments

Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah, has warned that Ghana's democracy is in jeopardy of collapsing because so many citizens have lost interest in democratic practice.

Rev. Ankrah argued that many have lost faith in the nation's democracy due to the failure of the political class to use the country's resources for everyone's benefit and the unacceptable actions of politicians, such as greed, corruption, and excessive politicking.

"Our politicians, I want you to know that people are hurting, that people are suffering to the point where people are losing faith in our democratic practice to even go to the polls to vote, because at the end of the day, when we elect our officers and officials and entrust the leadership of this nation and its resources to them, we don't see the resources being used for the benefit of everyone.

From the beginning to the next election, we see avarice, corruption, fighting, and politicking," he bemoaned.

Rev. Korankye Ankrahwho criticizes the political class when he considers it appropriate. He has consistently criticized them for failing to fulfill their mandate.
