Terrible Accident In Bono East; 3 Confirmed Dead

Accident on the road in Bono East. This afternoon in Ghana, a further piece of unfortunate information was confirmed. The unfortunate reports are rolling in from Bono East (Amanten) at this time around. Accidents on the roads have been a significant problem in Ghana. The Ghana Police Service is employing every strategy at its disposal in an effort to bring the country's high accident rate down to acceptable levels. We are grateful to Inspector General Dr. Akuffo Dampare for his leadership of the Ghana Police Service, which has enabled it to do a lot of positive things.

Ama Brago will provide a news update at noon. An anchor on Angel TV went into greater depth about the news coming out of the Bono East Region. According to the report, the deaths of three (3) young guys at the scene of the accident have been officially confirmed. It was quite upsetting to watch these young men helplessly lying on the ground together like this. The Amanten Government Hospital in the Bono East Region is now holding their bodies after they were found dead there. The news reporter disclosed that all three of the young lads who perished in the horrific car accident in Bono East were of adolescent years when they perished. The one who was the youngest of the three victims was only 17 years old, the one who was the second youngest of the three victims was likewise 18 years old, and the one who was the oldest of the three victims was also 19 years old.

The fact that the driver was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed is what ultimately caused the deaths of the three young men. He made an attempt to save them, but as a result of the nature of his speed, the pick up truck ended up in a nearby river, which had a bridge built over it. The driver was able to survive the horrific collision, but he was rendered comatose as a result of being submerged in water. After sustaining minor wounds, he was sent to the Amanten Government Hospital as a matter of urgency. Some residents of the community known as Duabone believe that the driver who was responsible for the car accident that took the lives of three young men in the neighborhood of Bono East was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Therefore, it is quite likely that he was intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle. A reporter for Asare Angel TV told the story from Atebubu, which is located in the Bono East Region of Ghana.
