Students are anticipated to return on 27 June 2023. All primary institutions in Ghana are on a ten-day break. This is an extremely brief vacation.

The second semester of the academic year 2023 began on Monday, April 3, 2023. The second term of Primary Schools lasted 10 weeks and 4 days.

2023 BECE
The 2023 BECE is for all junior high school seniors. The 2023 BECE will begin on Monday, August 7, and conclude on Friday, August 11, 2023.

The official schedule is published. All BECE candidates are urged to be by their texts during the final minutes of the examination. There is an admissions cutoff grade for SHS. If candidates perform poorly on the BECE, they may not be admitted to the SHS of their choice.
