Bright Simons, vice president of Imani Africa, has asked for a court that gives individuals greater authority.
He was making a statement on Kwasi Anin Yeboah's retirement on May 24 and the subsequent appointment of Justice Jones Dotse as Acting Chief Justice.
Mr. Simons wrote in a tweet, "Ghana's Chief Justice retires. His rejection of our amicus brief in opposition to the EC's decision to disregard birth certificates as evidence of citizenship is remembered by the activist CSOs I deal with. His rationale?
