Bart-Williams, a former midfielder, passes at age 49.

Chris Bart-Williams played 245 times for Nottingham Forest in league play, cup play, and international play.
Chris Bart-Williams, 49, a midfielder for Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest, has passed away.
His death in the United States, where he coached and mentored, was announced by Sheffield Wednesday.
An additional statement from the team read, "We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former player Chris Bart-Williams."
Bart-Williams began his professional career at Leyton Orient, where he made his debut at the age of 16 and scored the opening goal in a 4-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers.
He first played for the Owls back in 1991 and ended up making over 100 appearances for them.
Before playing for Charlton and Ipswich Town, Bart-Williams joined Forest in 1995, where he made over 200 appearances.
Trevor Francis, who Forest signed from Birmingham City in 1979 for a then-record £1 million, passed away on the same day.
When Francis was in charge of Sheffield Wednesday, he substituted in Bart-Williams for the 1993 FA Cup final, which Arsenal eventually won in overtime.
For Sheffield Wednesday, "Bart-Williams' untimely passing mirrors that of his manager at Hillsborough, Trevor Francis, who also died on this, one of the darkest days in our long history," read part of a statement.
Bart-Williams was once characterised as "a wonderfully gifted player, with a huge personality, and a very charismatic guy" by Mark Bright, a former striker for Sheffield Wednesday.

When asked about the sudden deaths of Trevor Francis and Chris Bart Williams, former Sheffield Wednesday keeper Kevin Pressman commented, "Devastating day, to hear the news of Trevor Francis and my former teammate Chris Bart Williams, both taken so soon, RIP Trevor and Chris."
In the 1997–98 season, Bart-Williams was a key contributor to Forest's title run in the former First Division and subsequent promotion to the Premier League.
Mark Crossley, a former Forest keeper, expressed his sadness at the loss of Trevor Francis and Chris Bart Williams on Twitter, writing, "I'm so upset to hear the news of Trevor Francis passing and my former team mate Chris Bart Williams, both so young, it is so sad, RIP Trevor and Chris."
Former England and Charlton striker Darren Bent stated, "RIP My former team mate Chris Bart-Williams, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends."
David Speedie, a former striker for both Coventry and Liverpool, tweeted, "Just when I thought the day couldn't get much worse, I've heard the tragic news Chris Bart-Williams has passed unexpectedly. In this moment of sorrow, my heart goes out to Chris's loved ones. So long, Chris.
