Berekum Chelsea coach Christopher Ennin has denied media rumours that Asante Kotoko had signed two of his team's players ahead of the forthcoming season.
The Porcupine Warriors are rumoured to be close to signing defender Henry Ansu and striker Kalo Ouattara as they look to bolster their squad and improve on their performance from previous season.
Christopher Ennin, on the other hand, has stated that both players are still in the team and that no clubs have approached him for their services.
"I don't know much about the move right now, so I can't say much about it." I did not give any of my players to Kotoko. "As the head coach, I don't know anything about it, so they're still on the team," he told Kessben FM.
The Porcupine Warriors were said to have chosen Ouattarra as having the requisite talents to complement their attack, and an agreement was stated to be in place between Kotoko and Berekum. Chelsea over the player's transfer cost, with a medical assessment expected soon.
The 21-year-old striker was also close to a personal arrangement and was anticipated to rejoin with his teammate. Henry Ansu is also said to have decided to join the Ghanaian giants.
Berekum Chelsea have begun preseason training in order to construct a strong team capable of making an impact in the upcoming season.
