NPP Bono Region Will Host A Workshop On Capacity For Executives

The ruling New Patriotic Party and former Prime Minister of Ghana's native region, Dr. K.A. Busia, hosted a weekend event. Through the office of the Bono Regional organiser, Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah, the entire regional executive team led efforts to build the capacity of all regional and constituency executives, as well as all MMDCEs (Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives).

This initiative seeks to bolster the party's structures in the region as the party prepares to end the country's eight-year cycle of leadership.

The focus of the workshop was on achieving the primary objective of recapturing lost seats in the 2020 elections and preserving the extant ones through a unified effort.

The National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), emphasised the importance of embracing the party's established structures so that everyone is on board with whatever engagements the organisers and Executives will undertake.

Mr. Richard Ahiagbah, director of national communications, emphasised the importance of comprehensive communication skills as a tool for winning the 2024 election.

Ahiagbah implored party executives and members to recognise the importance of effective communication strategies in dispelling propaganda and providing accurate information to the public.

He highlighted the elements of effective communication, such as attentive listening, thoughtful delivery, and the capacity to inform and inspire audiences.

The National Communications Director emphasised that the success of the party is contingent upon its ability to dominate conversations across multiple platforms, including the airwaves, offices, markets, and public gatherings.

The workshop, which centred on building the capacity of all constituency officers, had all speakers take shifts energising and contributing to the success of the forum's inaugural edition.

The MPs, Ministers, and CEOs in the Region pledged their unwavering support to the party's administrators in the region as the party prepares to reclaim all lost seats and maintain existing ones.
