Richard Senanu set to join Legon Cities

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu is poised to return to the Ghana Premier League in 2023/24 by joining Legon Cities FC.

According to credible sources, Senanu will join Legon Cities FC on a permanent basis.
The midfielder who recently played for Nations FC and contributed to their promotion will join Legon Cities FC on a free transfer.
In January 2022, after being released by Asante Kotoko, the talented midfielder signed with Nations FC, then known as Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
Senanu's tenure with Kotoko was ruined by a severe injury that rendered him unnecessary to the team.
In 2018, he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury against Coton Sport in a CAF Confederation Cup qualifying match. In Germany, he required surgery for this injury, which sidelined him for nearly two years.
Despite the setback, Senanu triumphantly regained complete fitness and made Mariano Barreto's team for the most recent season despite not having played in any competitive games.
Senanu was crucial to Nations FC's promotion to the Premier League during the previous season.
Paa Kwesi Fabin, the new coach of Legon Cities, has identified Senanu as a player who will help him accomplish his goal with the Royals.
