Rising Star From The West

Hyndu, a stage name used by Ibrahim Mohammed, a fast-rising Ghanaian artist, was born and nurtured in the lively town of Shama in the Western Region of Sekondi Takoradi.

He attended St. Peter's School, located in Shama, for his elementary and middle school years before moving on to Diabene Secondary Technical School for his secondary schooling. His interest in technology led him to pursue training in computer networking and hardware at IPMC.

Diabene Secondary Technical School was the first step on Hyndu's path towards a career in music. Thanks to the encouragement of the school's entertainment prefect, Egya Ampaabeng, CEO of Western Music Awards, he was able to perform Samini's "Gyae Hye" song. Hyndu's interest in his own abilities as a lyricist and singer was sparked by this event.

Hyndu has been committed to his musical career since that disastrous performance. More than 50 songs have been released throughout the course of his career, each one a shining example of his distinctive sound and gifted narrative. Popular examples of his work include "El Classico," "Democracy," "Parcel," "Rap Attack," "Nsem Keka," "Heaven," and "Okukuseku," among many more.

Many well-known musicians and performers, such as Pappy Kojo, Ras Kuku, Teephlow, Ayesem, Lasmid, Nero X, Singlet, Afedzi Perry, and Donzy, have worked with Hyndu. His older brother and a small circle of devoted friends who believe in his potential have helped him succeed in the music industry despite the lack of a professional record label.

The young performer has already made an impact with his engaging and high-energy stage presence. He has been a finalist in the prestigious "Mentor 2020" competition and has played at such events as Hitz FM's "Old School Re-union," "Made in Tadi," and "Shama Homecoming." His popularity has increased thanks to his appearances on Skyy Power FM's "Yesu Asor" and other media outlets.

Hyndu is not only a musician, but also an entrepreneur that sells cellphones and related products. Despite his hectic schedule, he enjoys football, songwriting, and listening to music as ways to unwind and have fun.

Hyndu's brilliance has been recognised, even if he hasn't yet been recognised with an award. He has been nominated for numerous Western Music Awards and is looking forward to finally taking home a trophy.

He wants to have a huge influence on the music industry in Ghana and beyond, and his dedication to his craft and love of music keep him motivated.

Hyndu participates in charitable endeavours because he understands the value of giving back to the community. Through his efforts, he hopes to bring positivity and compassion to the lives of the homeless and those incarcerated.

Hyndu is on the rise thanks to his skill, tenacity, and the motivation to change lives through his music and charity work. As he develops, he welcomes partnerships and possibilities that will allow him to broaden his audience and make an even greater impact with his music.
