Youth leader Jonathan Nkrumah puts up the nomination forms.
Mr. Appianin is a dedicated member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and is widely regarded as a grass-roots leader who can take the seat away from the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mr. Appianin has more than 20 years of professional expertise and is an astute public servant.

He began his career as a Ghana Education Service economics and business management tutor at the country's senior high schools and eventually became Assistant Director 1.

He also has a B.Ed. in social sciences and a master's degree in port and shipping administration.

Chairman of the NPP Elections Committee Mr. Joseph Quansah urged candidates to run respectful campaigns free of personal attacks because the NPP is a family.

After Mr. Appianin received the forms, he committed to collaborating with the delegates for the betterment of Upper Denkyira West.

He thanked the young people for their help and emphasised the need of following the election laws that are already in place.
