Dagombas in Kentucky get new chief

The Vice President of Northern Ghana Association of Kentucky (NORGHA-KY), Alhaji King Faisal Adam has been enskinned as the Chief of Dagombas living in Kentucky, USA.

Alhaji King Faisal who is also the President of the Foundation for International Network and Development (FIND) was enskinned by the Overlord of the Dagomba communities of North America, Naa Mohammed Umaru on behalf of Ndan Yaa Naa at a colourful ceremony in Louisville over the weekend.

Naa Alhaji Faisal is an experienced entrepreneur, whose passion is to help mentor and inspire young entrepreneurs to challenge themselves.

He has also been helping Dagbon and the Northern Region in many ways especially in the areas of health and education.

It was through the efforts of the Kentucky Dagbamba Naa that Dagbon had Zosimli Naa II, Ife Bell, the replacement for the late Zosimli Naa I, Susan Herlin.

He founded FIND to help the globe to find Northern Ghana and promote Dagbon and the Northern Region to the international community.



Naa Alhaji King Faisal told GhanaWeb the initiative intends to promote Dagbon through the advice of the North American Dagomba Chief, Naa Mohammed Umar, the Overlord of the Dagbon communities of North American.
