Haruna Iddrisu endorses ABA Fuseini, appeals to Sagnarigu delegates to retain him as MP

Former Minority Leader and NDC MP for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu has suggested to delegates of the party in the Sagnarigu Constituency to retain Hon ABA Fuseini as the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 Elections.

The Former Minority Leader said this while subtly endorsing the candidature of incumbent MP for Sagnarigu constituency, A.B.A Fuseini.

The Tamale South MP, appealed to delegates to renew the mandate of Saganarigu MP, A.B.A Fuseini, to lead the party as its parliamentary candidate in the 2024 General Elections.

The Tamale South legislator, made this remark at the Aliu Mahama Stadium following the arrival of Former president John Mahama to campaign ahead of the NDC’s Presidential and parliamentary elections on Sunday.

Mounting the podium to speak on behalf of NDC MPs in the greater Tamale area, Haruna Iddrisu told delegates to maintain the status quo, since all three Tamale MPs were going unopposed.

“Good people of Tamale, for the love you have for NDC, you have decided that 3 of us(Haruna Iddrisu, Murtala Mohammed and Alhassan Suhiyini), should go unopposed, so why not endorsed A.B.A Fuseini as unopposed candidate this evening to add him to we the unopposed MPs.”

Haruna Iddrisu stated in emphatic terms that it is John Mahama’s time to lead the NDC to victory come 2024 and urged delegates to vote massively for John Mahama to ensure he attains 100% of the valid votes cast.

“It is John Mahama’s time to lead the NDC, his time to lead and save this country and save the economy of Ghana and save jobs, inspire hopes of the youth of our country.”

The Incumbent NDC MP for the Saganarigu constituency, A.B.A Fuseini, unlike his colleagues who are running unopposed, is facing stiff competition from 4 others ahead of the party’s upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary primaries on the 13th May, 2023.
