Northern Patriots For Ken supports Kenedy Agyapong's campaign team

In order to increase visibility and to help sell the message of NPP flagbearership hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a group calling itself Northern Patriots For Ken delivered over one thousand posters to the campaign team of the politician cum businessman.

Copies of the posters are to be given to coordinators of the Ken’s campaign in the five regions of the North for onward distribution to party supporters and delegates for posting at vantage points.

This intervention, according to the group which is made up of very influential adherents of the ruling party who are of Northern extract but are based in the south, is a tip of what is yet to come in terms of the support they intend to render to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.

Chairman of the Northern Patriots for Ken, Dr. Alhassan Sulemana Anamzoya, disclosed in an interview that his group supports the Assin Central lawmaker’s presidential bid because he remains the only candidate who despite political power have stayed loyal to the party’s grassroot base and will easily break the eight year tenure should he be elected as Presidential candidate.



Dr, Anamzoya who is also zonal coordinator for the Ken’s campaign in the five regions of the North described the five-term member of parliament as very popular, incorruptible and a man who has practical solutions to Ghana's problems.

The former NDA Boss therefore called on all and sundry including party delegates and supporters to rally behind the ambitions of Mr. Kennedy Agyapong to ensure the party stays in power beyond election 2024 to transform the country.

Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is a businessman and MP for Assin Central for more than two decades. He has announced since that he will not be contesting as MP in election 2024 but as President hopefully on the ticket of his party, the NPP.

Mr. Agyapong is confident of victory at the primaries which is slated for November 2023 because he believes the country needs the type of leadership he is offering.
The leadership that is based on principles, practical ideas to solve the economic challenges and to wean Ghana off its dependence on support from britton woods institutions.

He also wants to transform the country using tourism as the launchpad to give hope and wealth to young people by creating opportunities and jobs.
