RTU denies reports of Hearts’ Gh¢150,000 bid for David Abagna

Real Tamale United FC (RTU) has denied widespread reports that Premier League Giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have made offers for in form Midfielder and Captain, David Abagna.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale based club, Jawhari Baba-Dumah denied the reports, saying that the club is not aware of such offers for Abagna, who is currently in Algeria with the Black Galaxies for this year’s Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

Earlier this week, reports were rife that RTU had rejected a Gh¢100,000 bid from Accra Hearts of Oak for the services of the Black Galaxies Deputy Skipper.

On Wednesday, there were renewed reports that the club had again turned down a second bid of Gh¢150,000 from Hearts.

However in a short response, the RTU Chief said there has not been any such offer.

“Good evening. I saw this circulating around. There hasn’t been any such offer to RTU. We have no idea about it as a Management Team.” he wrote on Wednesday evening.
