Arrest MCE Or Any MP Behind Kotoku To Incite Chaos In Adoagyiri - Okyenhene Akwansrahene tells Police

The recent Chieftaincy dispute which emanated between the people of Akyem Abuakwa and Akyem Kotoku in Nsawam Adoagyiri leading to the lost of lives and destruction of several properties in the area raised eyebrow of immediate security intervention.

In a crunch meeting by the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) , the Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong assured of restoring calm and peace through the deployment of police officers to the area and also ensure that thorough investigations are conducted into the matter and bring the perpetraters of the chaos to book to face the full rigours of the law.

However the member of parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri Hon. Frank Annor- Dompreh lauded the IGP for the intervention and said "my people are peaceful, the police should help to restore law and order while the right steps and interventions are employed"

"I am grateful to the IGP so far , however let's sustain the intervention and deal ruthless with all criminal elements in and around" He added.

Meanwhile, the Okyenhene Akwansrahene Nana Asiedu Bekoe Baffour has called on the Ghana Police Service to conduct thorough investigation and arrest any MCE or MP who is behind the Adoagyiri chaos in support of Akyem Kotoku to fight Akyem Abuakwa since no one is above the laws of the land.

Nana Asiedu Bekoe Baffour in an interview with the media in reaction to a comment made by the MP of Nsawam Adoagyiri Hon. Frank Annor-Dompreh said "I am very delighted you also had an opinion on this issue at long last what we expect is peace to prevail and also all those behind the people who fired gun on the Okyeman Protection Force are apprehended or arrestes and given the necessary punishment after police investigation"

"His Royal Majesty Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin is a peaceful King and someone who don't want any violence on his land (Nsawam Adoagyiri)"

"Please those behind all this Adoagyiri chaos in support of Akyem Kotoku to fight Akyem Abuakwa must stop, no one is above the law so if anyone either MCE or DCE or MP is the one pushing the people from Kotoku to cause this chaos he is going to be arrested" the Akwansrahene warned.
