Career Day is an annual event that provides students with an opportunity to gain insights into various professions and industries.

On August 4, 2023, the GOPDC Basic School held its Career Day to expose students to a wide range of career options and empower them to make informed decisions about their future. The event brought together professionals from different fields who shared their knowledge and experiences with the students.

The participants in this year's career day included representatives from various professional fields such as healthcare, technology, finance, education, the police, the army, and more.

The purpose of this year's Career Day was to inspire and guide students in their career exploration journey.

Speaking in a colourful ceremony to mark the occasion, the Community Relations Manager of GOPDC, Andrew Enyam Andoh was full of praise for the splendid career performances by the students.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr.Ernest Nana Adjei encouraged parents to support the talent development of their children. He further indicated that the career guidance provided during the event was to help students understand the different career paths available to them and gain insights into the skills and qualifications required for each profession. By providing students with access to professionals from various professions, Career Day at GOPDC Basic School aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-life work experience.
