DR. WINFRED KORLETEY BAAH DECLARES HIS INTENTIONS TO CONTEST LOWER MANYA PARLIAMENTARY SEAT

Dr. Winfred Korletey Baah, Greater Accra Regional Medical Association Secretary, has disclosed his intentions to contest the Parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Lower Manya Krobo to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament.

Dr. Winifred Baah, said, he will challenge the Member of Parliament, Mr. Ebenezer Okletey Terlarbi when the Party opens the Parliamentary nominations.

Known widely as Dr. Winfred Baah explained that, his bid to represent the Constituency is a manifestation of his belief that, the time has arrived for the youth to play frontal roles in the development of Lower Manya Krobo.


The Lower Manya Krobo NDC Branch Executive Member, Dr. Baah explained that, he is in touch with not just the base of the NDC but the youth in the Constituency and that he is confident of his chances.

Stressing that, it’s time for more action and less talk in order to develop the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency.

Declaring his bid on Sunday 5th February, 2023, he said that much as he recognized the good works done by the current MP, he believes that the development has been slow-paced and that with him in the saddle, the development in the heart of Krobo will be expedited.



Dr. Baah noted that his background will enable him establish contact and relationships with relevant stakeholders to provide equal opportunities for the youth and individuals.

He appealed to his followers and the delegates of the NDC in Lower Manya Krobo to trust him with their votes, expressing that his arrival as MP will lead to total dominance of the party in the constituency.

He stated emphatically he has all it takes to lead the NDC party in Lower Manya Krobo hence, delegates should ignore Mr. Ebenezer Okletey for a new brain to lead the party as parliamentary candidate into the 2024 general elections.

Dr. Baah has been promising to build a community of equal opportunities for the NDC grassroots and the youth in Lower Manya Krobo if he is given the chance to lead the party.

To this end, he has named his slogan for his campaign as Adwuma Wura for equal opportunity for all.
