E/R: Daasebre Adusei Peasah IV Parties With Children

A spectacular event that characterised the New Year Celebrations in Akyem Tafo in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana was a feast organized for over seven hundred (700) children at the Awansa Palace by Daasebre Adusei Peasah IV, Akyem Tafo Chief on the 1st of January, 2024.

Children from neighbouring communities clad in their new year apparels danced to various Ghanaian tunes and engaged themselves in music and dance competitions.

The children were served with assorted soft drinks, biscuits, candies, jollof rice and chicken among others and were presented with new year gifts.

Speaking to some of the children who couldn't hide their joy, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the benevolent Chief and all those who contributed to the success of the event.

They prayed for good health for Daasebre Adusei Peasah IV to continue the good works he has been doing for the people of the enclave and called for the event to be an annual affair.

Speaking on behalf of Daasebre Adusei Peasah IV, Nana Adwoa Adusei Peasah, Projects Director of Connecting The Dots Foundation Africa, recounted that, the foundation has been organizing the event since 2021 for the children but what makes this year's event very special is the involvement of the astute Chief, organizing, dinning and interacting with the children in the Palace.



Taking a swipe on Connecting The Dots Foundation Africa, she explained that, it's a non-governmental/charitable organization which emphasizes on children's welfare and building of their literacy levels.



Nana Adwoa Adusei Peasah further advised the children to take their academic work serious and shun all social vices to be good adults in the future.



She also encouraged parents, guardians and teachers to pay special attention to the welfare of their children for socio-economic development of the country.

Nana Adwoa Adusei Peasah therefore, thanked Daasebre Adusei Peasah IV for the gesture and expressed appreciations to Nana Amponsah Adepa Yeboah I, Akyem Tafo Kyidomhene, Mr Nelson Banning Odoi, CEO Nelsban Group of Companies, Dr Adu Ampomah, Supt. Edmund Appiah, CEO New Leaders Hotel and Event Center, Mr William Arhin, Executive Director of Connecting The Dots Foundation Africa, Mr George Owusu, Nana Anim and all those who supported in diverse ways to make the event a success.
