E/R: Development In Unity; Our Focus In 2024-MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Honourable Alhaji Umar Babs Bodinga has mentioned that, the surest way for continuous development in the Municipality and the country as a whole is to form a united front as it has always been in the times past.

"As we welcome 2024, it's my hope and prayer that the peace, unity and tranquility Abuakwa North has been enjoying would be sustained for continuous socio-economic development of the country as a whole". Honourable Alhaji Umar Babs Bodinga said.

The hardworking MCE indicated that, the Municipality has shown remarkable development over the last year and attributed it to the hard work of the Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP administration, the people in the Municipality and the assembly's staff and further wished all a prosperous New Year.

"I’m particularly grateful to the Nana Akufo-Addo's New Patriotic Party administration and the many people who are working to make Abuakwa North an even better place. It has been a long road, but we are adapting and moving into this new future with development in unity, I hereby wish all a prosperous New Year ". His statement added.

He continued by admonishing all parliamentary candidate hopefuls of the NPP to do clean campaigns devoid of insults and personal attacks with unity after the primaries to help the party break the eight (8) year electoral cycle to ensure Ghana's continuous growth and development.
