The Ghana Agriculture and Agro-Processing Awards (GAAPA AWARDS) brings together players of the agriculture and agro processing industry.

The awards ceremony is to recognize achievements of individuals and companies that play a significant role in the development of the agriculture sector while recognizing the key functions within the industry that promote standards, excellent , and innovation in the agribusiness value chain.

The prestigious Agro Processing Award won by GOPDC, marks a significant achievement for the company for its commitment to excellence in the agricultural sector and its contribution to advancing Agro-processing practices.This recognition further highlights GOPDC's dedication to promoting sustainable farming practices and supporting local communities in the Kwaebibirem Municipality.


Receiving the award, the Chief Financial Officer of GOPDC- Benjamin Owusu Ansah indicated that the company has made tremendous strides in the Agro-processing sector by employing over 4000 workers at its Kwae and Okumaning Estates.
