E/R: KENAFAM FOUNDATION DONATES TO THREE INSTITUTIONS

Kena Family and Friends (KENAFAM) Foundation has on the 20th and 22nd December, 2023, donated playing toys and learning materials to Ofori Panin Basic School (Unit For Children With Special Needs), Akyem Kukuratumi and ten (10) bags of rice each to the Ark Foundation, Akyem New Tafo and Hour Of Grace Children's Home, Huhunya all in the Eastern Region of Ghana in three (3) separate events.

Mrs Irene Baah Asare, Project Manager of KENAFAM Foundation also Senior Human Resource Manager at Cocoa Research Institute Of Ghana (CRIG), speaking to Nana Kwasi Asare on Nopras 107.5 FM "Adekye Mu Nsem" program explained that, supporting the needy in times like these is very important as it creates an atmosphere of love, unity and a sense of belonging to each other.

"Expressing love to the needy by giving especially during festive occasions bring joy, love and happiness to both ends. As a charitable organization, we will not relent on our benevolence to the society. We therefore pray for your support to do more". Mrs Irene Baah Asare said.



Mrs Irene Baah Asare further entreated all other Institutions, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations and well meaning individuals to emulate the gesture and added that, it's always worthy to give back to society.



It could be recalled that, KENAFAM Foundation has been donating to the society since it's inception.

She further, advised all to celebrate this yuletide in moderation and adopt the best of security at home and outside home.

According to her, KENAFAM Foundation is a registered charitable non-governmental organization which was co-founded by Mr Joshua Amoako Kena, a philanthropist living abroad and said their core mandate is to provide support for others.
