E/R: Kyebi-Afiesa Chief Enstools 9 Sub Chiefs

The Chief of Kyebi-Afiesa Otafregya Agyiman Kumaning have installed nine(9) strong youth as Sub-Chiefs and Queens of Kyebi-Afiesa in the Eastern Region of Ghana.


From him, it is about time the Chiefs in this country introduce the youth into chieftaincy because they will take over when they are no more, but it seems it’s a law that every sub-chief or leader at our various palace should be an old person, which is bad.


The exosphere is moving in another direction and to let our youth understand our culture and traditions we have to let them get closer to us in the palace so that they will learn and learn well for future use that will benefit everyone, he added.

Crowning these youth as sub-chiefs and queens is an honor to me because my palace and my town development will be of more ultramodern and these will let it developed faster.


"Sovereign of people is not one man's profession because it demands hardworking, knowledge and if I choose old people as sub-chiefs and sub-queens it will go against me and who I am going to depend on when it comes to man power work in the town. Sporadically, you need a strong and energetic person to send or represent you at a ceremonial function." Otaferegy Agyiman Kumaning said.




"It is about time we change the attitude of only old people are supposed to enter the chief palace in this country". He added




Nana congratulates the newly installed sub-chiefs and Queens of Kyebi -Afiesa and advised them not to use their position or power to intimidate others, but they should use it to help the needy and develop the town so that the citizens will get some benefit from them been a sub-chief and Queens.

7.Nana Otema Afriyie as Ankobeahemaa.
8. Nana Dankwaa Begyeedom as Sanaahemaa.
