The Chief Executive Officer of OYE Foundation, and KGL Foundation, Miss. Abigail Anani and her team have donated textbooks and other relief items to the pupils at Obawale in the Yilo Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The beneficiaries attend School at Obawale Methodist Primary, Presbyterian Primary and Aglican Primary.

According to Miss Abigail Anani, the gesture was to motivate the pupils in rural areas, to keep hopes alive with the children in the rural communites when everything seem to be going against which keeps her getting on closer to her dreams in ensuring that the poor and needy as well as the orphans in some part of the country benefit from what she has gained in life.

She stressed that, it is because of this motivation of every child must "read and write" that has resulted in the Hope to the foundation which aims at reaching the to the less privileged ones in society hence their decision to help pupils and the Orphanage.

She further indicated that, it is essential to support these less privileged ones because they all have the potentials to hold higher positions in the country to facilitate development, therefore lack of this petty support can derail their prospects in future.

speaking to Nenebi AYERTEY, the Rite fm Journalist, she noted that, majority of the Primary School pupils in rural areas are staying with people either than their bilogical parents hence engaged them in hawking before they are able to earn income to buy their learning materials as well as School uniforms.

ON behalf of the Yilo Krobo Educational Diector, Dr. Frank Agbugblah,
expressed gratitude to the leaders of the Oye Foundation for their kind gesture towards the school. She gave a series of educational tips to the students on how to keep personal hygienic and good environment to prevent germs and fungi that can cause infections.

The communication Director for KGL Foundation Mr. Edwin Osmond Lamptey, said "l distributed learning materials to School children every academic year. this is the aim of the KGL Foundation over the past years so those children are able to rise and achieve their objectives in education.

The beneficiary pupils were excited about the gesture of the OYE and KGL Foundations for supporting them.

The Assembly member of the Obawale area Mr. Tetteh Osanubor, said "there are a lot of challenges that about 90% of the pupils who do not stay with their parents face.I sometimes go to those pupils and give some chop money because apart from the School feeding which is their last hope and sources of their daily meals after School you will realize that such children do not have uniforms and learning materials so it is important for us to support them with the little we have".
