ELECTROCHEM GHANA LIMITED ANNOUNCES PLANS TO BUILD A COMMUNITY MINES FOR ADA EAST LOCALS

The company's aim is to put up a community salt mining firm for the good people of Ada East District and its environments, this is to help boost socio-economic growth in Ada and the entire nation.



Mr. Bernard Martei Korley, the Public Relations Officer said, "Electrochem is here to serve the citizens of Ada East District, therefore, I hereby announce to the public that we're going to build a community salt mine for local miners in Ada East District before commencing its commercial salt mining operations."

The Ada East District Assembly’s issuance of a December 31st deadline for all the local miners to vacate Electrochem’s concession to enable the company’s commencement.

In an interview with the media, The Public Relations Officer of Electrochem Ghana Limited, Mr. Bernard Martei Korley explained the company’s aim and achievements, and he said, "development and infrastructure improvements for the benefit of the good people of Ada and its environments is our biggest aim."
