FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY SIGNAL CAUTIONS TO THE PUBLIC

On November 16,2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration cautioning citizenry in general against embarking trips to Abuja, Nigeria due to the unpredictable security situation in the city and the high danger of terrorism, criminality, inter-communal conflict, armed attacks and kidnappings.

Due to risks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have sent subsequent directive through the local authorities to hotels operating in residential buildings to shut down.

In view of this, the Ministry advises against all traveling to Abuja and must take precautionary measures whiles the Ministry continue to monitor the situation and provide updates to the public when the situation improves.
