Horror: Two Robbery Incidents In Less Than Two Weeks In Yilo Krobo/ ER:

Three (3) shot, one in critical condition over armed robbery attack.

Yilo Krobo has experienced another robbery attack as four robbers including a woman attacked Gaso Filling station and mobile money vendor.

The incident happened at Ogome within the heart of the municipality, about 200 meters away from SP GAS where a robbery incident happened in less than two weeks.

The 4 armed robbers according to eye witness account spent less than 8 minutes to carry out their deadly mission after firing uncountable warning shots to scare their targets.

The robbers armed with pump action guns took undisclosed amount of money from Gaso filling station and over Twenty Eight Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 28,000 ) from the mobile money vendor.

In their attempt to flee fired a shot which injured a pump attendant working with Gaso Filling station and shot two other people they met on their way in their attempt to escape.

It seems the robbers had a good day since there are no CCTV cameras at the filling station to provide extra information about the incident to police.




Note that the police in Yilo Krobo do not have any proper vehicle ( pick up) to enhance their patrols on the main road and within the township.
