MP Awards Selfless Teachers And Health Workers

Member of Parliament for Upper West Akim Constituency, Hon Frederick Adom Obeng, has awarded Teachers and Health personnels in his Constituency. The award is to motivate Teachers and Health personnel in his Constituency to continue with their tireless and selfless dedication in the provision of quality education and healthcare despite the daunting challenges they encounter every day.

The MP indicated that, the awards is motivated by the outstanding sacrifices Teachers and Health workers in his constituency make each day, stressing.

“I am personally aware of the various challenges in teaching and healthcare provision but always working for the betterment of the Constituency and Ghana as whole." Hon Frederick Adom Obeng stated.


Education and Health personnels who were beneficiaries of these awards for their hard work took home plasma televisions, citations and many more.

The overall best award was given to Nana Yaw Gustav Borklo Emmanuel who took home a motorcycle and a citation.

Hon Frederick Adom Obeng also awarded students who are performing better in academics in his Constituency. The Award went to students who attained better grades in BECE and WASSCE, schools and students who won the quiz and debate competitions organized by his office.




In an interview with some of the awardees, they thanked the MP for remembering and honouring them with such awards and promised to bring the best out of them so upper west Akyem will be one of the best consistencies when it comes to Education and Healthcare delivery .
