NABROK FOUNDATION LEADS HEALTH SCREENING INITIATIVE FOR ASUOGYAMAN COMMUNITIES


The Nabrok Foundation, in collaboration with the Nilda Foundation specializing in Sickle Cell and Stroke care, have completed a two-phased comprehensive health screening event for the residents of Boso and Atimpoku in the Asuogyaman constituency. This humanitarian initiative aimed to provide free medical services, offering vital health check-ups to combat the prevalence of sickle cell disease and stroke in the region.

The event commenced on July 24th, 2023, at the Boso Health Centre, and it witnessed an overwhelming response from the community. The final phase was held at the Atimpoku Community centre on July 26, 2023. With representatives from both the Nabrok Foundation and Nilda Foundation present, the event symbolized the unwavering commitment of both organizations to contribute to the welfare of the community. The health check-ups were thoughtfully designed to be accessible to people of all ages, ensuring that no one in the community was left behind in their quest for better health.



At the heart of this visionary initiative was Nana Abrokwa Asare, the dynamic Executive Director of Nabrok Foundation, and an aspiring member of parliament vying to lead the New Patriotic Party ahead of the2024 polls in the Asuogyaman constituency. Nana Abrokwa's passion for grassroots change and his commitment to humanitarian initiatives have led the Nabrok Foundation to be an influential force for positive transformation in the Asuogyaman constituency.

In October 2022, Nabrok foundation held a breast screening initiative in Atimpoku, Adjena, Frankaduan and Anum to commemorate the international breast cancer awareness month.
