New Juaben South NDC Parliamentary Aspirant Hopeful Eric Yeboah Wadie Unifies Constituents With Unity Health Walk

The parliamentary aspirant hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress party in the New Juaben South Constituency of the Eastern region, Eric Yeboah Wadie has collaborated with the Eastern regional NDC party executives to embark on a mass unity health walk across the length and breadth of the constituency.

The Eastern regional party executives led by the regional Chairman Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor joined hands with over two thousand party members in the constituency as well as some past regional executives of the party and a group of people branded in the party apparel with the inscription 'first time voters' boldly written chanting and dancing to the tunes as emanate from the public address system as they embark on the unity health walk with the parliamentary aspirant hopeful, Eric Yeboah Wadie.

The unity health walk commenced from the premises of Koforidua Total 2 filling station and continued through Betom to Srodae to Asokore and ended at Koforidua Zongo market.

Addressing the gathering to finalize the unity health walk, the parliamentary aspirant hopeful Eric Yeboah Wadie urged all NDC party members in the constituency to come together and unite as one people to win the New Juaben South parliamentary seat for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

Eric Yeboah Wadie agued that even though the New Juaben South parliamentary seat has been branded by many as NPP seat , he refuted such assertions and said such are false perceptions therefore what the NDC need is a candidate who can mobilize the masses and is competent enough to deliver to win the heart of floating voters in order to cling the seat for the NDC.

He said "we can do the work but we will be able to do it better only if we unite , I am fully confident that we can win the New Juaben South parliamentary seat for the NDC , the seat does not belong to the NPP , I am coming because of the well being of Koforidua , everybody is capable of leading the party here but we need a candidate who can win heart of the other side to vote for the NDC, I strongly believe that I bear those qualities and surely because of me those who have not voted for the NDC before when I am elected as parliamentary aspirant , they will vote for the NDC".

He also accused the current MP and the governing NPP government for the failure to develop the Eastern region particularly Koforidua , he said the bad roads in Koforidua and the current state of it does not qualify Koforidua as the regional capital.

"We need a lot of things in Koforidua , I can see we are far behind , our roads and everything is not encouraging, when I am elected as MP my focus is to develop Koforidua and make Koforidua a better place for all of us" he said.

The Eastern regional party organizer, Mr. Hackman Kabore entreated all party members to actively participate in the party's limited registration exercise especially the first time voters.
