Star Assurance, Zoomlion, New Juaben traditional Council ,GPRTU others clean up Koforidua



Star Assurance Company Ltd., one of Ghana's leading insurance providers in partnership with Zoomlion,GPRTU, and the New Juaben traditional council has organized massive clean up exercise in main lorry terminals in Koforidua.

The clean up exercise was participated Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III and staff of Star Assurance is part of activities to celebrate 38th anniversary of the company.

2021 CIMG Insurance company of the year, Star Assurance in partnership with Zoomlion,GPRTU, and the New Juaben traditional council has organized massive clean up exercise in Koforidua to Kumasi and Koforidua to Accra main lorry terminals in the Eastern regional capital on Saturday.

Omanhene of New Juaben traditional Area Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III ,top managers and staff of Star Assurance from the Head office in Accra and Koforidua participate in the exercise which is part of activities to mark 38th anniversary of the company.

Gutters choked with plastic material and silts were desilted while waste materials and garbage that had liter the environment cleaned.



Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area commended Star Assurance for the intervention.He urged his subjects to join him make Koforidua clean.



The Chief Finance Officer of Star Assurance ,Justice Frank Offei, said the clean up exercise reflects the company's vision of being a solid partner to the needs of its partners.

Drivers were educated on road safety and insurance tips as well as various motor insurance packages by Star Assurance.

Star Assurance delegation subsequently visited Omanhene of New Juaben Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III at his palace to donate Ghc10,000 to support his development agenda, and two handwashing facilities.
