WAEC'S NEW MEASURES TO STOP EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES

The National Council of Private School Teachers led by Mr. James Ackon Kwame, on the 5th May 2023 has gone to see the West African Examination Certificate (WAEC) concerning it's new measures taken in place for the examination.


According to Mr. James Ackon, WAECE has explained that, the new system is designed in a way that, someone's question 1 is someone else's question 2 and this act is to put a stop to examination malpractices.

Mr. James Ackon Kwame also said that the results that came out from recent BECE and WASSCE was not interested at all unlike the previous one, so them as an organization they divots themselves to put measures in place to make sure the kids perform well in their next exams.

He said that, they would take it upon themselves as an organization to educate and train Teachers about the new method in other for them to gain more insight about the examination concept.

He also said WAEC has opened doors and a very big opportunity for the private teachers to also trained and become professional examiners for WAEC and the organization as well.



He said it is time for all the private school owners, head teachers, and even the students to understand that the world is growing big in a form of technology and more knowledge, so education has to be improved. He explains that government has put measures in place for the public schools which is (CPD) for all teachers which they go for training at least 2 times in a term.

So the private schools also have to do so to acquire skills and more knowledge to help teach the students for them also to perform very good in academic, said by the National Council of Private School Teachers led by Mr. James Ackon Kwame.
