WHAT WOULD YOUR ACTS OF REMEMBRANCE BE- CLERGY

What would you be remembered of?
What are the acts of your good works which could touch the hearts of men and cause God to remember you?

These and many more were the questions, posed by Rev. Edward Kotei Nikoi, the District Minister for Fanteakwa South of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, when he mounted the pulpit delivering the message at Osino, Grace Congregation.

The occasion was a special thanksgiving church service in honor of Hon Kofi Okyere Agyekum, a.k.a Arafat, the Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South.

The MP and his family supported by a number of colleague MPs, Ministers of God, Moslem leaders, Chiefs and queen mothers, politicians and friends gathering to thank God for saving the life of the MP when his house at Osino totally collapsed while he was sleeping in his bed room.

Rev. Edward Kotei Nikoi said if Hon Okyere Agyekum is counted amongst the living today, it is because of the divine hand of God which covered him at the time of the collapse and then made a way for him to come out from the debris.

The Reverend Minister said our God who listened to the cry of Hezekiah and added fifteen more years unto him because of his hard and good work, sees and listens to anyone who does good work for people and also seeks the progress of God's work.

Reverend Kotei Nikoi recounted numerous services rendered by Hon Kofi Okyere Agyekum thereby, bringing development to the district, supporting individuals and above all, supporting the work of God.

He said if such a person should pass on now, many are those who would suffer because they are yet to benefit from the good works of the MP.

He said God remembers people by their good works and that the good works makes name for the people to be remembered of.
He therefore encouraged all to work heartily to leave good marks which could result to marks of good names for remembrance on this earth.

Rev Kotei Nikoi asked if one would be remembered at all and for others to say
"Once upon a time, there lived a man or woman by name Kofi, Paul, Mary, Rose, Edward or George who did one thing or the other to transform life.

He said God takes note of all that people do and as such, he admonished all to work well for the good of others so as to cause our heavenly father to remember our good works and cause goodness to befall us.
