Anlo Traditional Council to immortalise memory of President Rawlings

The late former president Jerry John Rawlings' memory will live on thanks to initiatives taken by the Anlo Traditional Council.

During a conclave conference recently held at the palace of Awormefia, Torgbui Sri III, the chiefs made this choice in order to discuss some important problems connected to peace within the state and preparations for this year's Hogbetsotso Festival.

In a press release shared with the Ghana News Agency and signed by Agbotadua Kumassah on behalf of Awomefia, the chiefs also named a special purpose committee to start working on the process.

The Torgbui Tenge The chairman of the special purpose committee, Dzokoto Gligui VII, Dufia of Anyako-Konu and Paramount Chief of Amugo-Wego Traditional Area, was appointed to manage the committee's operations.
