UEW Level 100 Female Student Dies Few Weeks After Vacation

We are to announce the death of Miss Alhassan Afisatu, a beloved member of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) community, and a cherished member of the Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports (HPERS) department.

Miss Alhassan Afisatu, a dedicated student in her first year at UEW and a passionate volleyball player, was a bright and shining star whose presence brought warmth and inspiration to all who knew her.

Tragically, Miss Alhassan's journey was cut short by a relentless illness, preventing her from completing the activities of the recent semester. Her absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply within the HPERS department and resonates throughout the entire UEW campus.

Throughout her time at UEW, Miss Alhassan demonstrated unwavering determination and enthusiasm for both her academic pursuits and her love for volleyball. Her commitment to her studies was matched only by her dedication to the sport she held dear. Her passion for volleyball not only enriched her own life but also inspired her fellow students and teammates.

In this time of profound sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with Miss Alhassan's family and loved ones as they navigate the difficult days ahead. We share in their grief, knowing that words cannot adequately express the depth of their loss.

As a community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Miss Alhassan's family, friends, her fellow HPERS students, and the entire UEW community. Together, let us remember her as the remarkable and spirited individual that she was, and let her memory serve as a reminder of the importance of pursuing our dreams with passion and dedication.

Details concerning her funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course, allowing us to come together once more to pay our final respects. Until that time, we honor Miss Alhassan's memory by cherishing the moments we shared with her and by continuing to strive for excellence in both our academic pursuits and our passions, just as she did.

We bid farewell to a beloved member of the UEW family. May the soul of Miss Alhassan Afisatu rest in perfect peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire us to shine brightly and live our lives with the same fervor and determination that she exemplified during her time among us.
