NAHSAG: NEC meets Health Minister to address student welfare and professional capacity

The National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) had the privilege of meeting with the Minister of Health, Hon Kwaku Agyeman-Manu to address critical concerns pertaining to the welfare of health students and the imperative of bolstering the capacity of future healthcare professionals.

The discussion centered on implementing policies that would ensure a nurturing environment for students pursuing health-related fields, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing the training and education of future healthcare providers.

Additionally, the President, Daniel Onomah Asamoah took the opportunity to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Minister for their unwavering support during IHSS 23 and exemplary leadership during the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Minister of Health reaffirmed his steadfast dedication to nurturing and cultivating future leaders in the field of healthcare.

He underscored the pivotal role that these emerging professionals will play in shaping the nation's healthcare landscape. The Minister assured the NAHSAG Executives of his ongoing commitment to providing the necessary resources, mentorship, and educational opportunities to empower these future health leaders.
