Growing Land Disputes and Forged Signatures Plague Chief Nii Ashong Kojo III's Stool in Amrahia

Chief Nii Ashong Kojo III, the respected leader of Amrahia, faces an escalating crisis as disputes among his custodians have led to chaos and fear within the community.

Customarily ascending to the throne 35 years ago, Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III has diligently protected large parcels of land bequeathed to the stool.

However, recent events have seen a surge in encroachments, illegal land sales, and harassment, causing panic among the innocent and law-abiding citizens of Amrahia.

Unscrupulous individuals, driven by greed and opportunistic tendencies, have taken advantage of the situation, threatening the peace and harmony of the once serene community.

Reports indicate that some of these perpetrators have resorted to forging Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III's signature on documents, enabling them to sell plots without the chief's knowledge, thereby committing criminal offenses.

Among the leading culprits involved in these illicit activities is Mr. Ashirifi Mensah, who brazenly installed himself as the chief of a faction within the clan while Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III is still alive.

It is alleged that Mr. Mensah was supported by a group of individuals, including Mr. Kwashie-Teye Evans, Aziz Landguard, Eric Mensah, Ben Seyram, Moses Abor, Dipaltiche Mohammed Lukman, and Nii Ashirifi Ashong (known as Paa Joe).

The group has engaged battalions of land guards to carry out their illegal activities, resulting in the harassment and intimidation of innocent people, with women being particularly vulnerable to their brutality.

Large proportions of land have been unjustly claimed through illegal registrations, posing a significant threat to the safety and well-being of the community.

With deep concern for the future welfare of the people of Amrahia, Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III, known for his commitment to the rule of law, has called for the urgent intervention of the Honorable, Hardworking, and Just but Firm Inspector General of Police.

His plea seeks redress to prevent potential clashes between the aggrieved youth of Amrahia and the impostor chief and his cohorts.

The affected areas under Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III's stewardship include Diary Farms, Valley View, Katamanso, Sandtor, Adamorobe, and East Legon Hills.

These regions hold significant historical and cultural value, making the current situation all the more distressing.

The respected chief and his loyal subjects are hopeful that the Inspector General of Police will promptly investigate these disturbing developments, restore order, and bring those responsible for these crimes to justice.

Chief Ni Ashong Kojo III, a true lover of peace and harmony, remains resolute in his determination to safeguard the sacred lands entrusted to his stool and protect the lives of his innocent citizens.
