Savannah Regional Fisheries Commission Director Allegedly Robbed at Gunpoint in Tamale

Disturbing reports have emerged, revealing that the Savannah Regional Director of the Fisheries Commission has reportedly fallen victim to an armed robbery. The incident took place on August 7, 2023, at Bi-water in Tamale, located in the Northern region.

According to gathered information, the perpetrators orchestrated an ambush right outside the victim's residence. As the director approached the gate of his home, the suspected armed robbers, numbering around two and wielding firearms, swiftly emerged from their concealed position to carry out the robbery.

Startlingly, the robbers managed to make off with a Toyota Hilux Pickup bearing the registration number GV 301-22.

Law enforcement authorities have been promptly notified about the incident, prompting a swift commencement of a manhunt to track down the individuals responsible for this crime.

In response to this disconcerting incident, the police are urging the public to step forward and provide credible information that could contribute to the apprehension of the culprits. The importance of collective vigilance and cooperation in these situations cannot be overstated.
