Sarkodie Reveals Strongman And Akwaboah Continue To Receive Support From His Record Iabel

Sarkodie has revealed that he continues to support former labelmates Akwaboah and Strongman, despite their departure from his Sarkcess record label.

During an appearance on Angela Yee's 'Way Up Show' in New York City, the rapper expressed his genuine concern for their well-being and emphasized his unique approach to artist management, which places a premium on fairness, mutual respect, and caring for his artists.

Sarkodie disclosed, "I prioritize fairness, mutual respect, and genuine concern for the well-being of the artists I manage.

I feel compassion for them and would like to give them what I would want if I were in their situation.

He went on to clarify that while he was continuing to invest in their careers, he ensured they received a 50/50 split, a gesture he believes reflects the treatment he would want for himself.

In addition, despite the fact that they are no longer signed to his label, Sarkodie continues to financially support them.

"I just felt at a certain point that I needed to look out for artists," Sarkodie explained, emphasizing his dedication to fostering talent beyond their association with his record label.

Akwaboah, in particular, has always expressed gratitude to Sarkodie for his support, which included facilitating his first international travel while he was signed to the label.

Similarly, in a recent interview, Strongman acknowledged the impact of his tenure at Sarkcess Music.

Strongman acknowledged that departing the record label marked a turning point in his career, as he began to experience financial success in the music industry after he had left the label.

Reflecting on his development, Strongman said, "I believe I began making money in music when I was about to leave SarkCess. Before SarkCess, I had enough money to purchase a vehicle, but I spent it on other things instead.
